What is Good About Kangaloon
Kangaloon is probably the best school in the Southern Hemisphere. We have advantages that no other schools in the world have. We have a play area full of greenery. There are cows, no bulls and fresh air that is so fresh that it keeps our mind active.

Why I Love Kangaloon
My name is Kathryn Phillips and I love Kangaloon Public School. I have been here all my school years, from Kinder to Year 5 and will follow onto Year 6. Also, my two older brothers came here and they are both in high school.
First of all, Kangaloon has great teachers. When I was in the junior classroom I had Mrs Pratt and Mrs Miller. Mrs Miller loved teaching about Captain Arthur Phillip and Captain Cook. Also, Mrs Miller loved art and craft, so did Mrs Pratt. At Kangaloon we have had many Principals, but when I was in Year 3 we got a Principal, Mrs Meadows and she hasn’t left since. I am in Year 5 now and she has been here two years, this will be her third year and she is a really, really good teacher. She is a permanent teacher and we also have Mrs Dunn. Mrs Dunn likes to do art and she plans a lot of work but it is also fun.
Secondly, at Kangaloon we have a lot of excursions, we nearly have one every week. We are treated very well. You name excursion we have been there. Fourth term we are going to stay overnight at “The Farm” and we are going to go and visit places.
Thirdly, Kangaloon’s location is the best. We are surrounded by green, we look over the Wingecarribee swamp and Sugar Loaf Mountain. Next door are paddocks and paddocks, that’s all you see. We can even feed cows.
What I Like About Kangaloon
Hi, my name is Hayden and I’m school captain at Kangaloon Public School.
It is a lovely school and I’ve enjoyed it since I was in Kindergarten. It’s fun here, we have gym every single Friday. When we do Maths, it is actually fun.We do art & craft. Sometimes sport.
We go on a lot of excursions and it is fun. Later this year we are going to an overnight excursion.
At recess and lunch we have a beautiful playground to play in. We do soooooooo much fun stuff. Next year I’m leaving and I’ll miss everyone and the school.
What I Like About Kangaloon
Hello, my name is Georgie.
I have been at Kangaloon for one and a half terms. I think that it is a great place to be and a great school.
Firstly, I like the facilities and the play ground. We have play equipment, a great grass area and a COLA. We also have lots of sports equipment.
Secondly, I like that you get to know everyone and learn to get on with everyone. We also can do more excursions than other schools because we are a small school. Another thing I like is that if we need help in our work or homework there is always a teacher around to help us.
The other thing I like is that we have lots of grass, paddocks and trees around. There are also cows and horses near by. It makes it a great place to do our work.
I also like that we can do things like Easter raffles, talent shows and morning teas to raise money for the school, poor people or other charities. We also go to plays and performances and do other fun things like gymnastics and sport. Also we watch movies and get popcorn.
Lastly, I think the teachers are great, they teach us well and help us when we need them.
That’s why I like Kangaloon.
