Creative and Performing Arts

The children at Kangaloon use an extensive range of medium to express their artistic talents. Art and craft activities are related to the units of work being studied. A wide variety of art and craft resources are purchase so that activities are always varied, enjoyable and interesting. The classrooms are adorned with the children’s creative work.

Kangaloon students enter numerous art and craft competitions and have won many prizes at the local shows, environmental education days and Bowral Art Society shows.

Kangaloon Public School has access to the local hall where the children are involved in many stage productions and talent shows. These performances are always well attended by the school and local farming community. These activities help to develop the children’s confidence, public speaking and drama skills.
